These WEEE collections are pre-organised. We take Hazardous & non-hazardous materials and remove e-waste from your company. We charge £299.00 for professional WEEE collections per day, however, If your company uses our remarketing service to specifically sell us technology, we’ll waive our fee to £0.

Free Collections

Our free collections take place on varying days, and we usually provide our service to several companies throughout an area. We only take non-hazardous materials and you will be required to provide a minimum of 25+ items.

Our goal with remarketing is to get you the best possible price for your IT assets. It’s our main service and we take a 30% final value fee upon sale. This means we offer 70% commissions on all goods, negotiable, depending on quota. All offers are no-hassle, no-obligation offers, upfront, honest and transparent.

Ease of access for our team to remove equipment.
Any on site security passes to open doors/space.
Parking arrangements for our vehicles (i.e. loading bays).

Do we need to remove equipment ourselves?

We only ask that you gather all of the equipment you need removing in a safe and accessible place for our team to collect.

On Arrival we’ll do all the work for you and package items accordingly such as Data storage devices. Before we leave, we’ll let you know what happens next and we’ll ask you to sign a Waste Transfer Note to give us permission to carry those goods legally.

What level of auditing do you provide?

We assess WEEE, IT assets and technology you have given us and take note of any asset tags, serial numbers, model numbers and condition.

All of your collected equipment is audited and we provide an easy to read, Jargon free document on the items we have collected, removed and recycled. This provides our clients with a paper-trail for documentation and safe keeping.

We like to follow up with our clients about any hardware which we can redistribute effectively and efficiently.

  • We can only audit equipment with serial numbers/asset tags.
  • General equipment without tags will be shown as an amount.
  • We also need to know from yourselves whether there is existing data on board.

How much can you make for us?

It depends on the equipment itself.

We always keep clients informed about retaining value in their hardware, before it depreciates in the market. Depending on the type of goods/infrastructure you need us to recycle we can agree to resell them for competitive prices.

Our quotes are some of the most competitive around and if you’re not entirely satisfied you are under no obligation to commit to any transactions.

Any equipment we remarket for you, we give you a 70% returned commission.

Requirements for remarketing:
  • Equipment needs to have a marketable value / premium.
  • General equipment is sold as standard or scrapped.
  • Items need to be in a good condition which is classed as working.

How do you store technology?

We use third party secure storage with insurance. It’s primarily used when companies require space to carry out upgrades.

We have Secure Safe storage near our HQ in Surrey and we also use this as a warehouse for auditing and collection of goods. We can provide temporary storage for an agreed period of time in our unit.

When your technology is stored, we assess the value of those items to make sure that our insurance covers your entire stock. Depending on value, we may include an insurance fee if appropriate i.e. (specialist high value equipment).

All of the items we store are alphabetically labelled, sectioned and categorized.

What is asset redeployment exactly?

Essentially, it’s the movement of technology through logistics, including technology refits and upgrades.

For larger companies, we offer asset distribution and redeployment, effectively transferring your hardware/infrastructure to other sites, offices or branches upon request.

We pre-arrange all of the logistics and can re-deploy that infrastructure on site with light set up ready for yourselves. We can provide cabling and other wares if necessary. Some of our larger projects ensure that we oversee the transfer of old and new technology.

What is WEEE?

WEEE stands for Waste, Electronic and Electrical Equipment. It is a European directive which aims to reduce the disposal of technology and promote reuse and refurbishment.

Every year, it’s estimated the UK produces around 2 million tonnes of household and company e-waste. Electrowaste is an IT disposal and Recycling company which helps companies deal with the many complexities, obligations, and duty of care they have when dealing with waste management.
